An unexpected gem of a Mexican restaurant in northeastern Indiana. Large selection of tequilas and half price margarita Wednesdays. Francisco was attentive and fun.

Alcoholic drinks are ok, although not much booze in them. They've got a nice little patio, but the food is just awful. Small portions for the money, and twice now my food has been presented to me less than warm - almost cold. They chose both times to take it in the back and microwave the whole dish, as opposed to getting me a fresh plate with properly heated food. Very disappointing.

I've been to many Mexican restaurants, and have had better food, and service at HOLE IN THE WALL places. They charge you for tostada chips (which is ridiculous all in itself), and they're quick to serve you, and get you out the door. The hard shell tacos were stale, we're taken back, and still came back stale. NEVER AGAIN!!

My wife said the margarita she had was good. I had the two shredded beef taco combination with rice and beans. My wife had nachos with cheese and beef. The food was...well...I would have rather gone to Taco Bell. The shredded beef was like a sloppy joe mix texture, soggy and bland. The rice, although not terribly dry, was orange and flavorless. The refried beans were an unnatural rust-colored bean purée and again very bland. The portion size was acceptable but the taste was disappointing to say the least. The nachos were microwaved guaranteed. The cheese appeared to be string cheese and melted on the chips in the microwave. The beef was browned...but not seasoned beyond the browning process, which again was terribly disappointing.
The service, however personable and polite, was slow and forgetful. It was a pleasant evening so the majority of folks were outside in the patio area, which was spaced well enough to have a good conversation with your table whilst not feeling like you were talking over the neighboring tables.
We won't go here again. Taco Bell is on the other side of the 49, cheaper and a better representation of Mexican food. -

Yuck. I dunno what happened tonight but the food was awful. Soggy wet fajita with questionable looking nachos. The cheese looked vile. Pretty sure it was just microwaved to oblivion. The food was decent last time and that was only a couple of months ago. I praised the place to my friend, only receive this meal. Doubt I'll be coming back anytime soon.
